[date redacted] 2020 I reported my ex husband for sexual violence, domestic abuse, grooming underage girls and theft. The responding officer did not log the crime and as a result an investigation did not take place until 2022 when I was advised to rereport him by Cafcass.
I have made multiple complaints regarding Greater Manchester Police not investigating reported crimes of grooming underage girls, domestic abuse, sexual abuse and theft. The perpetrator was interviewed [date redacted] 2022 and told multiple lies about where he lived when one of assaults took place, he lied about being in child proceedings so officers would not take seriously the allegations of abuse. He lied about where he worked, who his boss was. All deliberate and lies that diminish his culpability. Had the police investigated they would have realised he was telling them lies. I have evidenced [senior rank redacted] lied in her response to my complaint about [a police officer] saying he had broken his bail conditions. And there is evidence of him on my drive at 3:18am stalking me. I have evidence that [a police officer] lied about me not giving dates of the assaults in her report written in 2022, when I gave her a chronology of dates, can be seen in the ABE interview with it and email asking for it back. I have evidenced that what [a senior officer] wrote in his report in 2022 was factually incorrect. When he knowingly wrote I had not reported the attempted rape before 2022, even though I am recorded reporting it in [date redacted] 2020 [a police officer] attended my property in [month redacted] 2020, stepped over stolen equipment we’d found in the loft. Didn’t log the reported crimes and said he would speak to his [senior rank redacted] about completing a statement regarding my disclosure of sexual assaults. He didn’t come back. [Senior rank police officer redacted] later apologised for this. I then reported again in [month redacted] 2021, still police did nothing. I was then told to re report by Cafcass in 2022. An investigation started in 2022 and witnesses were not spoken to, some of what witnesses reported was not put in the report and [senior rank police officer redacted] reported I’d not reported the attempted rape before 2022 even though I am clearly reporting it [date redacted] 2020. He hypothesised I’d made the attempted rape up, There’s evidence to show I reported to my divorce solicitor in [month redacted] 2019 4 months after it took place, and when I raised these errors, he shouted and threatened me in emails. [A police officer] reports I did not give dates of the assaults, even though I gave her a chronology, can be seen with it in ABE interview [a senior rank police officer] told me apply for a judicial review ‘I know what they have done, don’t give up’.
The victim right for review was supposed to be independent – [senior rank police officer] used to work at [redacted] Division, she was told not to investigate anything other than the sexual assaults. My complaint first was also dealt with by her and was not independent. Her [senior officer redacted] was then asked to look at it, again not independent, I was lied to again. [Person] from the VRR then emailed [several senior rank officers] an email I sent about misogyny within GMP to my local MP. And it was misogyny that led the police not to investigate, (Victim Right for Review clearly isn’t independent) All those emailed are clearly involved.
[A senior rank police officer] rings me [date redacted] 2024 to say they will reopen case for coercion and control. I email asking for proof of this conversation. He tells me ‘his friend’ will look at it, this is [senior police officer, date redacted] I email to say I will apply for judicial review, 4 hours later the case is closed. Apparently without speaking to witnesses or asking for evidence it doesn’t meet threshold for CPS. Judicial review response [senior officer redacted] reports I report 4 sexual assaults, he has made up an assault, I report this as a crime. [A senior officer] refuses to open my report against [senior officer] and closes the crime. I am told by GMCA to ask for case to be reopened due to new evidence, I come into Cheadle Hulme police station, and speak to [police officer] who tells me to ring 101. I do this and then 4 WEEKS later I am contacted by [senior police officer] to say he won’t reopen it that [police officer] has informed him I requested for it to open, he refuses to collect the phone. I then attach my MP to email, and he says he’s looked at the evidence but still won’t open it. [date redacted] 2024 I listen to the recording of my ex husband interviewed in 2022, and it clearly shows from the lies he says that [senior police officer] investigated nothing, the review is also nonsense as this should have been picked up if it had been investigated or reviewed. In court [date redacted] my ex husband tells the court he wasn’t allowed a Facebook, I go on to check and the Facebook is now deleted as I can prove he’s been monitoring me. I contact [senior rank police officer] and put a report through, the log is cancelled and when I contact the police through the chat, I am told that [senior rank police officer] is not allowing me to report the crime. This is to stop the case being reopened which will make [senior rank police officer] look negligent. I’ve even had police solicitor trying to have bailiffs at my door.
