I was at a party of a 14 year old girl when suddenly we realised nobody had seen her for a while she had been quite drunk so people started looking for her. She was found in an upstairs bedroom with 4 boys aged 15-19 some in a state of undress. She was unconscious and naked, we called the police and ambulance immediately to us it was obvious she had been raped. When the police arrived they were given all the facts and the girls mum was called. Some of the boys were still in the house and people had pointed them out. The officers said that there’s no evidence of anything and that the boys were just trying to wake her. When the mum arrived the police lied to her about what happened and one officer even told her to wash the sheets.
The girl was taken to hospital and no evidence was ever gathered, it was all covered up. To us it was hard to see, we were young and not listened too, we were dismissed and the poor girl has to live with what happened for the rest of her life. But worse off all is that there are 4 rapists walking free due to the fact the police are lazy, incompetent, uncaring, scared of being accused of racism, want to finish their shift on time or all of the above.
