I can’t tell you too much detail as it would reveal who I am and I believe I’ve had a lot of post separation abuse not just from my abuser. Investigations have been very poor, I’ve been lied to by several officers and staff and cover up appears to be all they are interested in. The abuse started when we met in a veiled way and continued for well over a decade. I think there was cheating at work. I found out he’d abused like this before for several years to another. He’s been protected by staff who’ve lied for him and this has impacted family court as well. Plus his ability to avoid his responsibilities and continue to act vexatiously. There is an awful lot to my story which reveals corruption that is rife. I believe we are safer collaborating and our silence and fear is their greatest weapon hence I’d like to make contact with other Suffolk Police abuse survivors.
