I was drugged and raped on a Friday night. On the Saturday I went to Essex police who were amazing and took great care of me. They also let me make decisions. The next day the Met rung me and was pushing me to let them start investigating. I told them I wasn’t ready and they pushed me, requested I meet with them, to drive round the area it happened. After 3 phone calls and a charities support I got them to back off. I then agreed to do an interview and they booked the wrong date and time. As I was treated so poorly and my mental health was put at risk, I closed the case. Wouldn’t go back again
