I was walking out of a club when a man I didn’t know reached under my skirt and underwear and grabbed me.
I was furious about the incident. The people I was with knew him, and someone very close to me told me he was a police officer. He was off-duty at the time. They all told me to stop making a big deal of it, and even insisted we gave him a lift home in our taxi. I was made to feel I was being over-dramatic. 10 years on I know they were wrong, and he was in the wrong, not me.
