I am a serving police officer and in [date redacted for legal reasons] I reported another police officer for controlling and coercive behaviour against myself. No thorough investigation was conducted. This man took all of my life savings, over £13,000. I was 20 years old at the time of this happening he was 40 years old. The investigation was closed and I did a victims right to review. This has now also been closed and this man continues to be a serving police officer. I don’t want to go into too much detail about the type of controlling behaviour but as you can imagine it was quite a lot as it amounted to controlling and coercive behaviour.
