I was on a dating site for hook ups. Got a message from a police officer. He introduced himself as an officer, said I was ‘safe’ with him and said he was good with handcuffs. He had half naked photos wearing enough of his police uniform to show he was a serving officer. I challenged him and asked whether his bosses approved of his pick up line. He deleted his account but I worry about other women he might have targeted, who might not have been as wary as me. I regret not getting more information about him and reporting him. He was clearly abusing his position to get sex.
